Members of the Council
Membership in the Council is open to firms that originate, execute, clear, or settle securities transactions. To become a member, a firm must pay dues according to the Schedule of Dues and other Fees. Other firms may become affiliates of the Council on payment of the appropriate affiliation fee. Each member firm may cast one vote at the annual meeting of Council membership, and at any special membership meeting. (Council general meetings are usually not membership meetings.) Apart from voting at membership meetings, members and affiliates participate equally in all activities of the Council.

Focus Groups
Focus groups may be formed to address specific issues related to the goals and mission of the Council. Focus Groups may be formed by majority vote of either the Directors or the Steering Committee.
